The paper is entitled "New Generation of Tunable Bioactive Shape Memory Mats Integrated with Genetically Engineered Proteins" and will be highlighted as the cover image for a 2017 journal feature publication!

• Welcome to Dr. Erkan Mozioglu who has joined our group as a Post-Doctoral Associate. Dr. Mozioglu studied under the direction of Dr. Tamerler at ITU, earning his PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Biotechnology. He continued his work at TUBITAK-UME (National Metrology Institute) in Kocaeli, Turkey as a Senior Researcher!

• Congratulations to Banu Taktak Karaca, Sarah VanOosten, and Esra Yuca, et al, on their publication in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Mohan Edirisinghe's group from University College of London, entitled "Coupling infusion and gyration for the nanoscale assembly of functional polymer nanofibers integrated with genetically engineered proteins"! The article is featured as a cover for the July 2015 print of Macromolecular Rapid Communications
